Event Report: Launch of CPE’s White Paper on ESR1 Mutations and Liquid Biopsy in Metastatic Breast Cancer at the European Parliament

This Event Report documents the high-level launch of CPE’s White Paper on ESR1 mutations and liquid biopsy, held at the European Parliament on 29 January 2025 and hosted by three MEPs from S&D, Renew, and EPP. The meeting brought together policymakers, oncologists, pathologists, and patient advocates to discuss disparities in biomarker testing access across Europe. Key survey findings were presented and concrete recommendations were issued for policymakers, healthcare professionals, and patient associations to improve equitable access to ESR1 testing and liquid biopsy for metastatic breast cancer patients.
