This Manifesto, jointly produced by Cancer Patients Europe and the Central European Cooperative Oncology Group (CECOG) and endorsed by ten MEPs, calls on the European Parliament, Commission, and Member States to tackle cancer care inequalities across the EU. Presenting stark evidence of disparities in prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship across EU Member States, it proposes two concrete actions: piloting the inclusion of cancer indicators in the European Semester process, and developing a European Cancer Inequalities Dashboard. The document argues these measures are essential to deliver on Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.
