This Event Report documents a five-part CPE webinar series held during the European Week Against Cancer (EWAC) 2024, organised with the support of the EFPIA Oncology Platform. Each session addressed one dimension of cancer care inequality across EU Member States: prevention and early detection, innovative diagnostics, treatment innovation, survivorship, and smoking cessation. Drawing on evidence from the IHE and OECD reports, panels of experts, MEPs, and patient advocates formulated concrete calls to action for the incoming EU mandate, including integration of cancer indicators into EU health governance and harmonisation of access to diagnostics and therapies.
