Momentum 2026 – Accelerating Europe’s action on cancer

Across Europe, important advances are being made in cancer research, innovation and care. Yet too many patients still face delays in accessing new knowledge, treatments and innovations that could improve outcomes and quality of life.

Momentum was created to address this challenge. Bringing together patients, researchers, healthcare leaders, policymakers, industry representatives and investors, the conference will focus on one shared question: how can Europe accelerate the implementation of cancer research so that patients benefit faster and more equally?

The conference is designed to move beyond discussion and towards practical solutions. Through roundtables, collaborative sessions and cross sector dialogue, participants will work together to identify concrete actions that can help bridge the gap between scientific progress and patient benefit.

At Cancer Patients Europe, we believe that meaningful patient involvement is essential to shaping the future of cancer care. We are therefore proud to support Momentum 2026 and to help ensure that the patient perspective is represented throughout these important discussions. Our CEO Antonella Cardone is among the confirmed speakers and will bring the patient perspective to discussions on innovation, implementation and the future of cancer care in Europe.

We look forward to joining colleagues and partners in Stockholm on 14–16 October 2026.
