We are excited to announce that CPE has officially joined the Online Order and Home Delivery of Medicines Alliance (OnHOME). This partnership is a crucial step towards improving access to prescription medicines for cancer patients across Europe.
Currently, while eight EU Member States and three EEA countries benefit from online prescription services, 19 Member States still lack this option, limiting patient choice and convenience.
OnHOME’s mission is to address these disparities by advocating for the revision of the General Pharmaceutical Legislation (GPL) to enable online dispensing and home delivery across all Member States. This initiative aims to resolve challenges faced by chronically ill and rural patients, such as distance and mobility issues, which have been shown to impact medication adherence and overall health.
CPE will actively support OnHOME’s call to action by working to highlight and remove existing barriers to online medicine access. We are committed to ensuring that every patient, regardless of their location, can receive their medications safely and conveniently.
